Biography
Born South London. Later in the 50’s studied Sculpture with Ben Franklin, at Redhill and Reigate School of Arts and Crafts, then at Goldsmiths College with Ivor Roberts Jones. Later I was awarded a Post Graduate year and did some work with Menashi Kadishman (the Israeli Sculptor) at Wimbledon.
Over the years I brought up my two sons as a single parent and taught life drawing, sculpture and art subjects, and have travelled with frequent visits to West Africa. Based in Brighton, UK, I work in my studio at Phoenix Art Space where I also facilitate regular six weekly Tutorless Life Drawing sessions.
